What to do in and before getting in the Driver’s Seat
What
to do in and before getting in the Driver’s Seat

Every year 34,000
people die on the roads due to accidents, weather, poor driving.
Some of those deaths
were preventable with proper driving instruction. The importance of
drivers ed should not be understated. Likelihood of an accident
goes down with proper training, the lack of training increases the
likelihood. The car is a machine weighing several tons traveling at
high rates of speed. Some of the steps that can be taken to reduce
the numbers of deaths is not driving at all by carpooling or taking
public transportation. Another way is besides drivers ed is stay
alert, obey the instructions of the signs or traffic officers.
Avoiding driving angry, drunk, or tired, these body conditions can
lead to unsafe driving behavior. Always drive passively, not
aggressively. Car accidents are scary experiences for anyone involved
and the ones that are friends or family, one would hope that it would
never occur to them but sometimes fate has a way. The way I would
take to become a better driver is by staying more alert, watching my
speed to make sure I am not going too fast or too slow. I would check
my car for defective equipment and if there is, get it immediately
replaced. I check the radiator fluid, windshield wipers, and the oil.
All of these ways to become a safer driver. Sometimes just plain old
experience goes a long way. Drivers that have been driving for longer
up to a certain point tend to be safer than younger drivers. Wish
all of you safe driving
