The Importance of Safe Driving and Ways To Stay Safe

Every
young teen has to study to get their permit then learn how to drive
for a year and a day then take the road test. It’s important for
people to take that time seriously because it’s important to know
exactly what you are doing before you start driving. When someone
takes short cuts and just does what they want they are potentially
putting themselves and/or other people in danger and being ignorant
is not acceptable. Driving is a privilege that some people have and
they should be grateful for the opportunity to get from point A to
point B but, it is a shame for whether or not the person is going to
reach their destination. The importance of drivers ed in
reducing the number of deaths in driving accidents is that the
majority of them could have been avoidable if people would just learn
what to do and what not to do. It is important for people to know
their states driving laws especially when their not from a particular
area its good to just read about the laws or ask officials what’s
ok to do on the road. However, fundamental information needs to be
learned before the driver hits the road to keep themselves and others
on the road safe. The steps that can be taken to reduce the accidents
due to driving would be to look up certain things that are confusing
or that need to be clarified or ask an official. Another step would
be to practice the right way to drive and do not fall into bad
habits, a way to not form a bad habit is to not practice it so take
the time to practice the right then to do because it could end up
saving lives. Another step that can be taken to reduce the number of
accidents is when someone you know is driving and you see them not
doing the right thing kindly remind them that your life is important
as well as theirs and they need to be more careful especially with
other people in the car. Another step to take would be to be a nice
driver on the road accidents can happen because a driver was rushing
another driver and both or one of them were injured, it’s important
to be patient. I have been in an accident while my mom was driving
late at night. We were visiting some family and someone ran really
close to my moms’ car which ran us off the road. The driver fled
the scene but luckily no one was hurt, All of my siblings were in the
care with me and that situation could have gotten really out of hand.
The steps that I can take to be a safer driver is practicing what I
preach I am going to practice following the law at all times, educate
myself, and be a kind and patient driver. I can help other drivers by
being a good and safe driver.
