Necessary Changes for Driving

The importance of
drivers ed in reducing the number of deaths from driving is
beyond important. When I took my drivers ed class at school it taught
me the simple skills that and details that you wouldn’t learn from
driving with your parents or learning on your own. The skills I
learned in drivers ed I still think about while I am driving today
and it has helped me avoid an accident. So, just imagine giving
everyone the education they should have and how much it would help
reduce the number of deaths. With the modern technology that we have
today, I feel like everyone could come together to create a way that
your phone detects when you are driving to block distracted driving
and can only allow emergency calls. I personally have never been in a
car accident, but I have seen my friends get into car accidents.
Someone was not paying attention and was on their phone. They cut my
friend off in an intersection and tore off her whole front bumper
which ended up totaling her car. I can practice safe driving
especially while I am driving with people to influence them into not
wanting to do the same. I can also help to show them examples of
people who they may know that have gotten into serious accidents and
show them it can happen to them too.
