safety is a very important topic and knowing how to be safe by taking
drivers ed is essential. The importance of drivers ed in
reducing the number of deaths as a result in driving is that you will
have that knowledge of how to not get yourself into a situation that
could end somebody’s life. In the course you learn how to avoid
pedestrians and crashes that will harm others. The steps that can be
taken to reduce the death numbers related to driving is to make
everyone no matter the age take drivers ed and make the actual
written and driving test harder than it is now. I myself have
experienced some of my older family members driving irresponsibly
because they believe that that is the way that they are supposed to
drive. And, that what they do coincides with the law because they do
not understand it. Being in the car with them can be really
frightening when you know what they are doing is wrong. I personally
have used their faults to my advantage by learning what not to do and
what to do while driving. The steps that you can take to be a better
and safer driver as well as help others to be safe on the road is to
have everyone learn the same thing in drivers ed. And, to not
have it varying by state as it does now. Because, if you travel to
other states the things that they teach are different and if those
drivers drive a lot different than you do that can cause issues and
maybe even crashes. To help others you can encourage them to take
drivers ed and take the time to learn the rules of the road
and the different strategies to stay safe.
