Safer Driving
Improving
driver training should be the target of all who really take an
interest in road safety. Driver educators alone will not improve
driver training programs. The national public and road safety
professionals consider driving as easy work and have been bombarded
by the publicity that driver training does not make. Nevertheless,
all must cease under appreciating the driving work and the benefits
of driver training if we are starting to make any useful
modifications. There must be a powerful union of advocates behind
modifications to driver training.
Driving
to work is the most hazardous process some employees undertake and
leads to far more work related accidental deaths and severe injuries
that all other business activities. Put out some of these facts to
explain the extent to which accidents might affect the business
processes – and highlight the benefits that might be attained by
investing in risk management and strategy. If the employees have
vehicles in work, you should get the written road risk policy
available to them. The policy should see the vehicles and drivers and
how they are employed. It should be easy and straightforward words to
set out targets for reducing accidents and describe how this can be
accomplished. This writing can serve as the foundation of the
accident reduction scheme and should be made widely accessible across
the organization.
My
brother in law died of drunk driving when he was only a teenager, it
really devastated the family and made it where my family was safer
driving and when I could drive I would make sure I was a safe driver.
I think the best way to improve safety driving is to constantly
educate drivers on safety, inform them of the risks of not driving
safely and drivers using common sense while driving.
