Drivers ed Essay
Lindsey’s
Story
As
a fellow teen I know the many loopholes that they may take to feel
like they fit in with the rest of us. Many of us don’t think that
Drivers ed is as important as it is, simply because we think
were better and are a step ahead of this even if we aren’t. Driver
education shaped me to the driver I am today because it helped me
know what’s right and what’s wrong on the road. We can start
enforcing drivers ed to teens by expressing how important it is
to have this in the long run. We can start by not giving teens new
cars that make them feel like they’re above the rest of the teens
that can’t drive for what ever reason. After experiencing a life
threating car accident by speeding, I learned that trying to get to
one location to the other isn’t necessary for any reason. Yes, it’s
exciting to get a new car and being able to drive but we can’t bend
the rules for the exactment of ourselves or others. After the car
accident I had I went into a drivers ed class that really
shaped me because it shows me that if I die, I will not only affect
my life but those around me will also be affected. My parents no
longer had trust in me driving at all and going to school was very
hard considering that my parents had to get out of work to take me to
class. This is just one example of the many situations I had to
adjust my life to. I eventually got their trust by going to work and
coming home safely this time and this was a complete life lesson for
everyone around me. The steps I took to become a better driver is
mostly focusing on the road, planning ahead and looking at all ways
at any intersection. I would recommend for everyone to plan ahead at
were exacting your heading to.
