The importance of a drivers ed
Driver
education is an important lesson that young drivers must, and
unfortunately typically don’t, take as seriously as possible. With
drivers ed drivers can recognize and prevent risky behaviors
which could lead to driving accidents and possible death. In order to
reduce the number of deaths related to driving some following steps
that can be taken involve empathizing the severity of the results of
reckless driving or having young drivers engage in conversation with
someone affected from the death of a driver. Another step could
involve experiencing or observing a simulated car crash to add visual
aid instead of simply vocal lessons since everyone learns
differently. I myself have experienced my own family members driving
irresponsibly. They mention they’re too experienced to suffer an
accident due to irresponsibly driving. While it may work now It only
needlessly raises the risk of suffering from a potentially fatal car
accident all due to a text that could’ve been answered later. To
become a better and safer driver the steps one can take is to firstly
remove the phone from your field of view, reach, and if need be
hearing range. One could put their phone in the glovebox and simply
leave it there until driving is over. Another step is to focus on
your surroundings as well as the road. The next step is to never make
assumptions of other drivers. Other people think and act on very
different viewpoints other than your own. This means it’s always
better to assume that other drivers won’t do as you believe and as
such you must act as though every moment is an accident waiting to
occur. Of course, It’s not right to drive highly tensed all the
time so instead take a more proactive approach and simply take things
slower than you might have been before. Finally, make sure to always
follow the rules of every road you drive on!
