Driving
is dangerous in general. One mistake from the person driving the car
can lead to major accidents. But people still drive knowing what the
consequences of driving are. But being educated on the topic can help
people understand the possibilities that could happen. Being educated
can help people understand how many people are being killed in
accidents. Being educated means that the driver knows what to do and
what not to do while driving. Like the simple ones: keep your eyes on
the road, hands on the steering wheel and don’t speed. But not
everyone listens to those rules. People want to be safe while driving
but anything can happen. Drivers ed can help reduce the chance
of car accidents happening but accidents will always occur. People
will continue to drive like they always do until something happens.

I
was in an accident with two other vehicles. Coming out of a red light
the vehicle in front of me was making a left turn. But instead of
slowing down and turning the car just stopped with no blinkers no
warning. This made me suddenly push on my brakes while the vehicle
behind me didn’t notice in time.This caused the vehicle behind me
to hit me and for me to hit the car in front of me. So you could say
my car was sandwiched in between two large vehicles. While the car in
front of me had almost no damage my car and the car behind me were
towed. Luckily no one was majorly hurt and just had minor injuries.
But not everyone is able to come out of a car accident alive.

There
are ways to reduce car accidents. By having people take classes on
how to drive safely or notice the signs of an aggressive driver. But
the main cause for most car accidents are distracted drivers. Mainly
people that want to look at their phone while driving. So one more
idea is to push the rule of no texting while driving, but most people
won’t listen to it. There is no way to stop car accidents, but
taking classes and always be on alert while driving will help cause
less accidents.
