The Price of Speed

Any type of
privilege comes with a price to pay and if you’re not fully aware
of all the consequences which follow then surely, you’ll fall into
its trap. Driving is one of those privileges which deem to have the
most consequences of them all. Without the proper driver’s
education, the number of deaths caused by drivers will only increase
as time goes on. The more a person knows about the proper ways to be
safe on the road the more likely they will behave safely on the road
leading to a decrease in the number of accidental death due to a
person’s idiocy. Drivers ed shouldn’t be taken lightly for
it’s a way for people of all ages to gain the knowledge and
understanding of what driving can do if done irresponsibly.

There are many
ways to avoid getting into accidents but, here are a few steps you
could take to ensure you know what to do when necessary. You could
take a Drivers Ed class in school if they provide it, or online.
There are also some places which provide driver’s lessons for young
driver to experience may type of situation that may occur on the
road. Just going online and typing Driver Ed class will bring up
links to several services, there is just an endless number of ways to
ensure your safety and the safety of others. You just need to look
for it.

My family in
general drives safely yet my dad, who is the safest driver out of
everyone in the family, got into two accidents in which he was not
responsible for. Some accidents are just inevitable but, knowing how
to avoid serious damage can save your own or the lives of others.
After years of driving, driving will soon become second nature to
you, such as riding a bike, and when push comes to shove you’ll have
a better reflex when any type dire situation comes your way.

For me to become
a safer driver I could practice driving daily which will give me more
experience before I go driving on my own. I could also attend some of
my local Drivers Ed classes so I can have the experience of driving
under different circumstances. I could also take an online class so I
can review all the rules of the road. By knowing how to behave in a
car ride I could also avoid distracting to the driver so they can
drive safely too. Reminding people not to text while driving, to wear
a seat belt al all-time or even giving assistants when someone is
under the influence of alcohol can save the lives of many even if it
may not seem so.
