Did
you know that vehicular accidents are one of the major causes of
fatalities in the world? Statistics show that the numbers are rising
as each year passes. Unfortunately, many don’t realize that
accidents are called “accidents” because they weren’t planned;
in a snap, they can just happen! Fortunately, there are a few ways we
can try to prevent them from happening.

One
of the ways to prevent these dangerous incidents from ever occurring
would be to make sure citizens know the rules and regulations of the
road. One
example

is
drivers’ education. Drivers’ education plays a very important
role in guiding new drivers to the understanding of the dangers of
driving and how they can mitigate them. This helps make driving
safer. However, it does not, and can not, solve the entire problem.
The first step would be for drivers to stop doing things that could
endanger their lives while drinking. One of these actions is texting
while driving, 26 percent of all motor vehicle crashes are related to
the use of cell phones. Each day, 11 teens die in crashes caused by
texting and driving. 2.35 million people in the US are injured or
disabled by car crashes every year. Knowing how to drive physically
and being educated on how to drive are two different things. With
drivers ed, you’ll know the consequences of what could
happen and know how to prevent tragic accidents.
