Dangers of Technology
We
learn, thanks to the many reports, that drivers between the ages of
16 and 18 are among those most expected to be affected in the car
accident. I think that getting the driver’s training class could
help to properly inform young drivers. Drivers ed courses
can really help new drivers discover the skills that are crucial to
have as a safe driver. One skill that will help is to educate eager
drivers on how to prevent themselves from getting into accidents.
Distractions
maybe in some forms, but cell phones are the most common distractions
between my generation. Whether it is to heart a picture on Instagram,
see a Snapchat your friend sent, or modify the song on your favorite
playlist, the phone may be a tempting distraction. But I know it is
essential to lay it down to prevent any accidents on the road.
My
mom is one of the safest drivers I know, so when I get into my
friend’s car, I sometimes feel like I have to remind them to get
off their phones. It really worries me when I see my friend using
their phone while driving with me in the car. I know they shouldn’t
be doing this even though I do not have my permit or license yet.
In
the long run, it’s usually the driver’s behavior. The fact is
that you can’t control the activities of different drivers. I
haven’t started the race of getting my driver’s license before my
friends because I am honestly scared to get behind the wheel. I am
afraid of getting into an accident or being the reason for someone
else to get hurt. When I do start taking drivers ed courses, I
will make sure I do everything in my power to prevent any danger I
could put onto others. Nevertheless, growing into a defensive and
safe driver will help anyone avoid the risk caused by other people’s
actions.
