The Opportunity of Life

The
first thing that popped in my head every time I even thought of
driving was freedom. I thought that driving was so cool and you could
go and do whatever you want. But when I was getting my license I
realized there were so many rules and regulations when it came to
driving, That never stopped me from doing what I loved most and that
was being able to go where I wanted when I wanted to. When I got my
first car a Toyota Corolla, of course, I was so happy but there are a
lot of responsibilities when it comes to having your own car. Things
can happen like getting a ticket, getting into an accident, or the
worst of them of all death.

The
importance of drivers ed is to show everyone who is willing to
get behind the wheel the ways of the rode. When I was little I would
get on my mother’s lap and control the steering wheel. Early
drivers ed could never hurt anyone. The earlier the better
in my opinion.

*Flashback*
All the way back in 2014 my mother was driving my sisters and I to
school one morning and we were merging onto high way and it looked
like this man was trying to beat us to and he hit us. I was so scared
and at first, I thought it was a dream then I looked around and it
was real. He was driving very irresponsible and he told us he was in
a rush. That shouldn’t determine how you drive you should always
drive with manners. The best way to reduce the number of deaths is to
educate yourself and others using the resources provided to us by
companies based on driving and the internet. There are so many
opportunities in life where we have the chance to help each other
become better drivers.

The
steps I can take to be a better and safer driver is I can always go
back to the handbook and re-educate myself. I can help direct others
to a certain class or provide them with the materials needed to help
keep everyone safe on the road. Life is a huge opportunity and we can
give everyone that chance to keep it by safer driving.
