You Have Your Whole Life Ahead of You.
Many next drivers or even people who have been driving for many years
still experience crashes which can have a negative outcome. I think
that taking drivers ed is the most important thing you can take
and learn in life; it reduces crashes while can also reduce deaths.
The importance of drivers ed is that it teaches you things you
might have never thought about or your parents did not tell you. If
you make a mistake during drivers ed, your instructor can help
you and tell you what to do that in the certain situation which can
save many life’s’. There can be many steps taken to reduce those
situations when you are alone or with others such as put the phone
away, you should never be on your phone while driving, if something
important is happening pull off to the side of the road and take the
phone call. Another step is to only drive when you are in a good
condition such as if you are tired, don’t drive you could fall
asleep at the wheel. One final one is to make a conscious effort to
improve your driving skills just because you have your driver’s
license does not mean you should stop learning. Always be thinking
about your surroundings and pay attention to the road. The more
serious you take your driving, the better driver you will become.
I have never
been in a car crash whether it was by myself, with my parents, or
someone else. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t seen my friends
driving irresponsibly, often my friends look at their phones while
driving. Whether it be at a stop light or while driving, neither
which are necessary nor needed. If I see my friends on their phones,
I will usually say that I can text someone for them while they drive
so they do not have to do but many times they will say they were not
texting some and put their phone down. The steps I can take to become
a pretty driver is to always be focused on what is in front of me,
not behind or to the side of me. Put away all distractions such as
phones, food, or even drinks nothing that could distract my driving
is needed while I’m driving, if I need to, I will pull off the
road. I will help others become safer on the road by reminding them
what safe driving looks like and telling them that we all need to be
safe. I will also tell them that not only might they have others in
the car, they are responsible for those people in their car, put away
all distractions and protect yourself and others.
