Being able to learn
how to drive in your teen years feels amazing. I remember how my
parents, especially my dad, taught me how to drive on the course of
the road, how to brake, and when to know when I need gas, etc. But,
he did tell me that although it’s a privilege to learn to drive at
such a young age, it can also cause problems. A car can be a weapon…
Driving can be an
exciting experience growing up, but we must know that a car can be
used as a weapon and a threat to other people if not being careful
properly. Students should be able to obtain their permit and transfer
them to the next level and object in getting them an official
license. Driving school is an important attribute because it develops
the ability in learning to drive safely and using our senses to
navigate our driving. When my dad took driving school, he gained
knowledge of what right and wrong about driving, knowing what
directions to use, etc. It’s is really important to know what you
are doing while driving due to the fact that they are some drivers
that are not always careful, leading to cause an accident or even
worse, death. In order to not raise the number of deaths as a result
of driving, then we should strictly follow the rules and get rid of
the habit of texting while driving. Many drivers still do this as I
have witnessed other cars next to ours when my dad takes me to
places.
I had an experience
where my mom was driving me and my siblings to school. My mom wasn’t
paying attention at all and staring off into space. Iv’e noticed
that the upcoming street lights were red. The thought of whether if I
should let my mom know to stop, but it was already too late. Another
car crashed into us and it didn’t end well obviously. Reflecting on
that incident a couple of years ago, made me realize that we should
pay attention to the road, as well as paying attention to the people
around us because anything can happen. We all should be able to
master the art of driving and have fewer accidents, with fewer
injuries and especially deaths.
Paying attention and
developing the knowledge in driving a vehicle will beneficial for
everyone around the world to have fewer to no accidents and deaths.
Due to our bad habits and terrible decisions we have made, we should
be able to open our eyes and think about the future of our kids and
able to have skills in driving so it will prevent any major and
negative impact to not only to yourself but as well for other people.
