begin with safe driving is a concept that people of all ages should
be familiar with. The outcomes of driving recklessly or badly could
be fatal to others and an individual. The importance in reducing the
number of deaths due to driving is extreme. We all have been given
the gift of life and it would be selfish to take it away from someone
due to a stupid decision. Some steps that could be done to reduce the
amount is to educate and bring an awareness to society. In all
highschools there should be course required to take before getting
your license. There should be an emphasize of examples of reckless
driving and the bad outcomes that could come out of them. Although
nobody wants to think about the bad things that could happen, we all
should be aware of the possibilities in hopes to keep us safe.
Myself, as a driver, has never gotten into a car accident. Although I
have been in the passenger seat. It was very scary to experience and
since then I have been very cautious about the other drivers around
me. We can not control others but if we focus on improving our on
personal driving and following the rules to ensure safety can create
a whole community of safe drivers. Rather than tackling it as a
whole, take small steps that can equal out to a bigger affect. For
example educating highschoolers who are entering the world of
driving, advise lower the music radio, and stricter phone laws. We
all like to think that something like a car accident would never
happen to us but if we can avoid all of the bad habits of reckless
driving can make a difference.
