Death on the road
On
a cold rainy day in Alamogordo NM, my friends and I decided to get
something to eat during lunch but instead, we ended up in a 4 cart
pileup due to unsafe driving practices. Ever since that day, I have
thought long and hard about the safer driving skills I could adapt to
my daily life. Thousands of drivers die from unsafe practices every
year, to avoid this tragedy people can take important steps to be a
safer driver as well as reduce the number of deaths. The importance
of learning about drivers’ education can reduce deaths and allow
audience members to avoid a mistake they will regret for the rest of
their lives.
Safe
driving is a factor of someone’s day that can make it or break it.
Without it, drivers can hurt the people around them as well as
themselves. Steps to improve your driving and others are the
following: not texting, watching the road, giving people tips on
driving, watching your mirrors, keeping an eye on blind spots, etc.
These methods are important to not only yourself but everyone on the
road with you, one mistake can mean the end of yours or even someone
else’s life. Improving any one of these tips can help you have a
better safer life on the road as well as the people around you.
On
the road, death happens almost every day especially in situations
were a safe driver is not at the wheel. You can make several choices
to avoid this situation and reduce the number of deaths related to
driving. Steps like teaching people about drivers education, police
issuing tickets for unsafe driving, and persuading family and friends
to use safe driving practices are all ways the community can reduce
deaths on the road. Death is never fun especially when it is someone
you love, don’t let the lack of safe driving take them away.
Being
in a wreck can be an awful experience that will affect the rest of
your life, especially if it means the end of a family member. As a
community, it is important to take into account all safe driving
practices and ways to lower death rates on the road. You never know
who could be the next victim of this terrible problem, it could ruin
the life of one person as well as the lives of many. Please if it
means saving a least one life adapt these practices into yours.
