Driving With A
Mindset

Over many years
there has been a great loss of people because of driving, and yet no
one does anything to decrease the chances of death. Like texting and
driving, so many people do it and everyone says that they are
careful. Then one day they get into an accident and regret even
looking at their phone. And it just constantly happens even after
“knowing” the risks. But no one knows the risks until it happens
to them.

The importance of
drivers ed in reducing the number of deaths as a result of
driving because one you get into a higher education with this subject
you start to drive even more carefully. And with that the death rate
will decrease dramatically. Some steps that can be taken to reduce
the number of deaths related to driving could be putting your phone
out of sight, getting good rest, be more cautious, etc. Even the
little things can help so much, even if you don’t think it will. My
mom always texts and drives and when I tell her to stop because i’m
not yelling at other people for it. And one day when I used to do
girl scouts my mom picked me up and she had some shots and she almost
got into an accident because she would rather pay more attention to
her phone than the road, after that I took her phone away. Some steps
I can do to be a better and safer driver is silence my phone, get
good rest, don’t drive when I am not ok to drive, and always be
aware of everything. And some things I can do to help others is to
take their phone and if they need directions or need to text someone
I can do it.

Overall, we all can
impact so many people to be better on the road. There are many things
that we all need to improve and it can all start right now. If we
start now then the rate of deaths could be at zero in a few years,
the rate will only increase if we don’t set a positive impact. If
you make an impact on just one person you could be saving a person’s
life. Think about it and get right to it.
