Importance of Drivers ed
Taking
a course in divers education can be extremely beneficial to anyone’s
safety, it’s important for preparing those who will be driving. You
can take practice permit tests, and go to traffic school online.
In-car lessons are available throughout the country, some schools
have courses for their students to take before they start driving as
well as courses online. Drivers ed teaches you simple
common-sense actions to remember like those going straight have the
right away or the first one to the stop sign goes first. The simple
things are the things you might not pick up on if you don’t learn
them in drivers ed. Today in this day technology is a big issue
leading to distractions. Also on this day a lot of people run late to
things and now speeding rates are rising, this means there is a lot
of reckless driving. There are mixes of young and old drivers that
are considered to be the more dangerous drivers. Traffic accidents
are from more reckless drivers and people failing to yield at yield
signs or using stop signs as yield signs. My family is guilty of
using their phones while driving, especially my brothers who are on
social media; they believe they can text without looking but really
every few seconds they look down just to proofread what they are
reading. There have been some cases where they swerve a bit becasue
they start truing the wheel without realizing it and it can be scary
for those in the passenger seat. Even if you are the best and safest
driver in the world you can not protect yourself from distracted
drivers around you. Some ways you can be safer are to replace your
olf windshield wipers, give space to vehicles ball around you, try
not to use cruise when your driving, if you are hydroplaning do not
hit the gas or hit the brakes, just let off the gas and slowly press
the brake so you don’t slide more. Don’t take advantage of the
technology that the car has such as maps or BlueTooth while you are
driving, you should at least wait until you are at a stop to touch
anything.
