The importance of being a safe
and educated driver can never be stressed enough. When driving on the
road, not only can you risk injuring yourself but also injuring
others on the road. Drivers ed is extremely important for all
drivers before they officially begin driving. Learning signs and safe
techniques while driving can significantly reduce the chances of
getting into a car accident. In order to reduce these chances,
certain steps need to be taken. It is important for every single
driver to take driving classes and pass their test before receiving
their license. Nothing better prepares you for driving on the road
than getting behind the wheel yourself. It is important for everyone
to experience a certain amount of time practicing driving. I was a
passenger in a car accident myself. Luckily, it was not fatal;
however, the accident could have been prevented if the driver was not
distracted. Hence why driving instructors emphasize the importance of
getting rid of distractions while driving such as turning the music
down or ignoring your phone. To improve my driving, I could take
another driving course or continue practice behind the wheel. Even
watching videos from driving instructors could improve anyone’s
driving. You can never receive too much help on becoming a safer
driver.
