The
importance of educating drivers in driver safety is pivotal, there
have been just as many casualties due to car accidents than there
have been American casualties during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars
combined.
Steps
taken to reduce the number of deaths include increased punishment for
texting and driving, we can enforce stricter laws in order to crack
down on those who still text and drive, or increase the punishment.
I
have never had an experience of being in a car accident, but I have
friends and family members have.
Steps
I can take for being a safer driver include placing my phone out of
reach, always paying attention to the road, driving with two hands,
and not driving for long distances.
