Driving
is a great experience to go through. From having to rely on family
and friends to get where you need to go, driving can limit those
distractions and delays and provide you the ability to transport or
get around easier. The importance of driving education is to ensure
new or veteran drivers are following laws and regulations to driving.
It allows new drivers to be comfortable on the road which leads to
less accidents and deaths. In this case, some steps can be taken to
decrease the amount of deaths related to driving.
The
first step would be to exclude all distractions. The more
distractions, the less you are paying attention -to the road and the
other drivers around you. Following with the second step, I would be
mindful to know your surroundings. It is important to be mindful on
the road because another driver may not be paying attention or able
see you in their blind spot, so it is important to make yourself
noticeable and aware of where you are positioned. The third step
would be to drive sober. According to NHTSA, “Every day, almost 30
people in the United States die in drunk-driving crashes—that’s one

When
I was younger, I was once in a car with an irresponsible driver. I
didn’t realize that someone on the phone while driving could be
very dangerous to my life and everyone else in the car. When it comes
to driving education, there is always a way to become a safer driver.
To explain in steps, I would start with planning ahead. Try to know
where you are going and memorize the route you used to get there.
Also, I would try to avoid all distractions on the road to limit a
car accident. Finally, I would try to make myself as visible as
possible and be aware of my surroundings to ensure that I’m
accounted for while driving with others.
In
conclusion, there is never too much information when it comes to
driving education. The more driving education that is obtained by
this generation, the closer we are to decreasing the amount of deaths
accounted for each year. The role that driving education plays in the
world is huge with more people becoming driver’s every day.
Starting with steps that could help prevent crashing and reduce the
amount of deaths related to driving drivers can follow these steps
and hopefully become a safer and educated driver.
