Driving
to See Another Day

Driving
has become an essential aspect of the everyday life. However, it is
often a dangerous activity. There are ways to help driving not be so
dangerous; for example, there are many programs that help teach the
importance of driving safely. By teaching the aspects of driving as
opposed to just practicing, it allows the driver to have a basic
understanding of what is going on before he ever gets on the road. To
prevent deaths by accidents, an annual course could be implemented
that would require drivers to take a drivers ed course at
least once a year in order to keep their driver’s license. This
would keep drivers up to date on the basics of driving, thus making
it safer.

Fortunately,
I have never actually been in a car accident, so I am unaware of the
traumatic instance that takes place the moment impact occurs. I have
seen my friends and family driving unsafely, however. Ranging from
texting while driving, to being more focused on something else, I
have seen unsafe driving habits. For me, to become a better and safer
driver, I could regularly practice driving and staying up to date
with all the laws the state has implemented. By doing such, I will be
aware of all things necessary to be on the road.
