Driving
has always been a big thing, even during the introduction of
automobiles. People getting to be free and encounter new things while
on the road. It is very important though to put safety first when
putting your hands on the wheel. Many people have died constantly
since 2005 and the numbers are constantly increasing every year.
There are many ways to prevent this to you and anyone close to you
when driving.
The
first way to prevent this is to take Drivers ed. It is
important to know the signs and meanings of each sign you encounter
when on the road. It tells you vital information about the
crossings,road and other vehicles. Not following them can cause a
higher risk of an accident. Knowing your signs in the road can
prevent risks and more safety to yourself and others. There are lots
of ways to reduce your risk on the road. One of the common ways steps
is to be alerted to your surroundings. Don’t be distracted by your
phone, other people in the car or any small distractions while
driving. This really helps a lot when you’re driving because your
focus right now when driving is the road and your surroundings.
Always silence your phone and put it away. Texting and driving has
been one of the most causes of accidents and deaths in the U.S..
Talking to a person in the car can be dangerous because the focus you
are giving is to the person and not on the road. It is ok to chat but
not to turn around and look at the person physically, but not all the
time or constantly during the ride. Always check on your car in
oil,transmission and brake fluid. It is very important that the car
is tuned up for a smoother ride. Having a bad part in your car can
drastically destroy the rest of the car. Every 3 months always check
your oil and your brakes to ensure proper car care. This helps ensure
that your car can function good when on the road. It can be risky to
be driving a badly tuned car because your car cannot function as
intended and can cause accidents. Always buckle up because it can
help save a person’s life. Seatbelts locks you in place when
driving so you don’t go off flying, this is vital because it can
break the motion in cause of an accident.
I have a friend who got in an accident and it was actually scary when
he texted me, he told me that he was talking on his phone and a car
had rammed into him.He wasn’t paying attention to the road but
mostly in his phone. He was just fine when it happened, but he had to
pay a big fine, plus his car’s repair on the back. This connects
back to the phone, either put it away or pull over on the side and
deal with the problem. What I take to have a safer driving experience
is to silence my phone and put it away. Next I will be alerted around
my surroundings when driving and to respect the law while driving.

be safe but also to have a pursuit of freedom and adventure.
