Driving and Death!?

Knowing
drivers ed can help reduce the number of deaths as a result
of driving by helping prepare drivers prepare to be involved in a
situation that could potentially harm them, and other drivers. Having
that knowledge also helps prevent those exact situations, so that
drivers are not put into dangerous situations. Putting all drivers
into a driver’s course, or class could help drivers, or if a law is
passed that forces drivers to give themselves an understanding of the
dangers they could come across on the roads. I have nearly been
involved in numerous accidents, fortunately, I have yet to be in a
car accident myself. But I find myself constantly pestering my
parents or older siblings to put their phones away or to lift their
foot off the gas pedal because they’re going above the speed limit,
I’ve been put into a situation as a passenger where the driver was
driving completely irresponsibly, swerving, and going high above the
speed limit to the point where I had to have the driver pull over,
and get out. I try to prevent any situations that could cause an
accident, acting as if a guard dog myself, constantly on the lookout
for other cars that could bring harm to myself and the driver, and,
in general, any dangerous situations. I, cannot drive, but I’m
legible to get my permit in less than a week, so I’ve already begun
to prepare myself, I’ve been taking numerous hours out of my days,
just to study and learn the necessary rules of the roads, and just in
all begin to know what could cause potential harm to others and
myself. Because it is important to have that knowledge before I begin
driving, because becoming the cause of an accident where lives could
be lost, would be my worst nightmare possible as a driver.
