Safe
Driving
Safe Driving is
about the real dangers on the road and how it is very important to
keep your eyes on the road. It starts with who is driving the
vehicle. I want to make an awareness for how people think this okay
to let continue. I am not okay with knowing an intoxicated person is
behind the wheel. It is not just the driver putting themselves in
danger, but others on the road. Especially, if they have people
inside the car with them and they think they are “okay” to drive.
That right there is where it all begins. People should acknowledge
responsibility within themselves. They are an adult they should act
like it and do the right thing here. If that driver knows they will
drive in the moment or later, and will get behind the wheel then,
that should be an alertness of not only costing your own life, but
other innocent people on the road. Those people are not to blame for
because of the drivers actions.
There are many
topics on this, keep going, and people keep hearing them constantly
and not changing how they do things and just keep repeating the same
cycle. People think “oh it won’t happen to me this and that”
but, the strange thing about life is that it is unexpected. Sometimes
people think they know how they are intoxicated, but they really
don’t anyone wouldn’t know because they are under the influence
of alcohol or drugs in their system.
We all can reduce
deaths if we all call 911 if we see someone on the road and they are
sketchy meaning drunk/high or the car is going sideways. Another way,
we can stop this if we can make smoking in cars while going to
somewhere not acceptable. More police officers everywhere well
alerted to also avoid these situations.
I have not
experienced this, but have seen people on the freeway like
intoxicated and sometimes I get afraid I will pay the consequences of
their intoxication and my father who is the one driving trying his
best to get away from that car. It’s things like that we shouldn’t
be afraid and could avoid and I would like that safety when getting
in the car knowing that there aren’t irresponsible people costing
my life. The life we were given isn’t a joke.
Make sure whoever
is driving and has a family that will come along with them not be
driving intoxicated. Call someone close to them to pick them up. If I
can avoid my family from driving like that even teenagers I will know
I saved a life.
