is Drivers ed Important?
Drivers
education plays a huge role in learning how to drive and keeping
people safe within the community each and every year. In recent years
it has become more and more important because of the rising number of
deaths that have occurred
around driving.The number of deaths have increased over the past
couple years making it less safe to drive around. Because of this
people that are learning how to drive and even adults should go
through a drivers ed class. Some steps that can reduce the
number of deaths that are related to driving is putting down your
phone and paying attention to the roads. Also try to eliminate as
many distractions in the car while you are driving around. I have not
personally been in a car accident before but I have had some friends
that were involved in a serious crash which ended up with them going
to the hospital. The accident was caused by someone reaching down by
the gas pedal to grab their phone. It all started with just one text.
Just because of this simple task, that is way easier to do when you
are not driving, it could have cost my friends lives. Some steps that
I can take to become a better driver is review all of the rules for
the state you are driving in about once a year. I would say thing
because the law does change and not knowing one rule can cause you to
crash. Another step I can take to becoming a better driver is not
touching my phone. This includes changing a song or even making a
phone call. I say this because I don’t want one mistake to cost me
my life just like it could have with my friends.
