stay safe when driving
The
importance of drivers ed is to provide people with the
knowledge about how to always drive safely while operating a vehicle.
Whenever you are behind the wheel of a car remember you are not the
only one on the road so be attentive and patient. In these hectic
accidents such as, motorcyclist accidents, rear end collisions, and
hit and runs, we must remain cautious. When operating a vehicle you
must always look around as much as you need in order to secure the
area of no objects, pedestrians, or animals in your pathway. When we
get into vehicles we never know what to expect we must always pay
close attention because every second makes a difference.
The
reason why we need drivers ed is to help us understand that we
as new drivers must educate each other to prevent further collisions.
In our five hour class we are taught about how drugs, phones, and
irrational choices can turn deadly. A number of deaths are due to
texting while driving, drugs, and doing illegal turns that can
negatively affect others. We all share the road with many people in
state or out of state but all driving rules are made to keep everyone
safe in traveling. The more we educate ourselves and family we are
going to continue to pass on knowledge learnt to become great
drivers.
My
proposal to reducing the number of deaths related to driving is by
creating police vehicles the luxury of being able to read if a car is
registered or not to keep the roads safer. Therefore any vehicles
riding on the road can easily be removed as well as any suspicious
drivers who maybe swerving or illegal racing. Those who have warning
signs of dangerous driving conditions should signal putting your
hazards on and call 911 for further assistance. I think the thing we
must remember about driving is that all lives matter. Going forward
we must drive safe and not disrupt our norm to skip the line of
traffic or make a illegal turn endangering all lives which can end in
a tragedy. Defensive driving course can help new or older drivers
become better to understand how to stay a safe confident patient
driver.
I
have never seen any of my sisters ever drive irresponsibly because
they all have children to set an example for. I was taught by my
sister how to drive the correct way because she told me in order to
operate a vehicle it takes great responsibility. My father was killed
in a car accident so I am very cautious about paying attention to
details because it’s a major key when your driving. I have been in
a cab going to school and I was involved in a car accident I always
make sure to put on my seat belt because you never know. We were
crossing a green light we had the right of way but, a Florida license
plate cut us off spinning the car luckily we were all fine. The car
never stopped but honked their horn as if we were in the wrong place.
I
recently just took my road test and I passed it I was very happy to
have the opportunity to be able to drive responsibility and share the
road with great drivers. I passed the test but I want to promote
awareness, patience an space to share the road and be selfless. I
want to always help others in need like constantly having jump cables
that extend far distances. I will always promote safety first while
being a smart driver you must be attentive an on point paying
attention because every second counts. I am happy for this
opportunity to enter my essay I would like to thank you for your time
and consideration, I wish everyone greatness and safe driving to all
new college students.
