A
Drivers ed

As
we start approaching the target of becoming teenage adults. We
imagine the best out of it , like passing out drivers license test,
work , college and partying. But do we really understand the
importance of having a drivers education? Most of us drive without
acknowledging the dangers and importance of having a driver’s
education. An average of 34,000 people die each year as a result of
driving in America. Not only are many of these people dying from car
accidents, but also drunk drivers, irresponsible teens that do not
understand that in order to drive one must be aware of others and
safety. A drivers ed helps reduce the amount of deaths by
providing knowledge ,skills and attitudes needed for vehicle safety
both as a driver and as a pedestrian. Moreover, the key to reducing
the amount of deaths of driving is by obeying traffic laws, avoid
distractions, drive rested and steer clear of alcohol and drugs.
Throughout my whole existence or from what I can remember I have seen
at least two of my family members who have irresponsibly driven on
the road under the influence where is has made me feel unsafe and
precautious when entering a car with a friend, family or individual
whom does not follow in with the laws. My steps to become a better
and safer driver on the road is driving well rested, cautions of
pedestrians, avoid distractions such as phone calls and observe my
surroundings as well as other drivers.
