A Safer Driving World
The importance of
drivers ed in reducing the number of deaths is that by letting
drivers new and old know all the rules of the road will help them
always be in mind of how they are expected to be driving. This will
lead to fewer accidents making our roads safer, and anytime an area
has modified laws they should ensure their registered drivers in the
area are fully aware and prepared to avoid any confusion. Steps
include harsher laws to drivers with above-average driving
violations. Other steps include ensuring drivers learn from any
violations they make to avoid them making them again. A few months
ago I had been driving late at night while it was harshly raining, I
was trying to drive as safe as I could but due to the lack of rain,
the region I live receives that when it rains it is more susceptible
to flooding. I had taken a quick left turn and hit a big puddle
causing me to slide in my car, I had luckily not hurt anyone and no
damages were made to my car allowing me to correct myself
immediately. I now know the dangers of what irregular weather causes
a driver and have learned how to drive safer when it rains as such to
avoid any issue as such again. I also urge more drivers to know how
to drive safer in such circumstances since many accidents are caused
to weather conditions. Being safe is being aware, not only of what
one is doing but the others around them. Some safe steps include
knowing about any setbacks to one’s normal commute such as traffic,
closed roads, and weather conditions to ensure one is more confident
in their driving. Another step includes being to determine as a
driver if you yourself are fit to drive due to whatever condition
that may hinder yourself a safe driver and if not find other means of
transportation.
