ONLY TAKES A SECOND

CLICK! CLICK! CLICK! CLICK! SCRRR!!!! BOOM, my
life flashed before my eyes, We were hit. I was In the passenger seat
frozen with a petrified look on my face. Startled by The door being
shut forcefully by another car. The only thing that I could think
about was the pain in my shoulder. Traumatized by the accident, I was
too terrified to even look at the passenger door, or to even sit in
the front seat for some time after the crash.

Drivers ed is not only beneficial, it
is critical. It helps inexperienced drivers gain experience and
knowledge before they ever get behind the wheel of a moving vehicle.
The mere fact that it helps make sure that we all know the rules of
the road and knowing what the road signs are typically located makes
us safer. Some of the skills taught help us all to prevent car
crashes, and accidents. Drivers ed teaches that simply keeping
your car in good condition makes us all safer. It also teaches thy
little steps like being cautious of your surroundings, and
anticipating other peoples actions can have a major impact on
reducing accidents on the road. The main lesson that I have learned
from my experience is to only drive when your fully aware both
physically and mentally. When something that the average person does
every single day causes more deaths than combat, these little
precautions that are taught in drivers ed become so much more
important and effect all of our lives.
