The importance of drivers ed to reduce the number of deaths is
to educate people about car accidents and let them know what could
actually happen. Furthermore, show them physical consequences of
people who have gotten into accidents, videos, and stories about how
accidents have changed people’s lives.

You can reduce the number of deaths related to driving by informing
people, because many deaths by driving are caused by racing, texting
and driving, or drinking. It’s usually when other people are doing
what they shouldn’t do other than just heading to their destination
being cautious watching the road. Also, make new laws due to the
highest number of how people die because of driving. There is a lot
of distracted driving and also placing sensors would be beneficial,
before cars get into accidents.

I have had an experience of being in a car accident twice. The first
time it was my family and I, which was very traumatic. My father was
driving and a car was coming up very fast and switched lanes into the
lane my dad was in. While my dad was still going straight the car had
hit right into us. That was the most upsetting and disturbing
experience ever even though I was young. Also another time recently,
my friend was driving at a normal speed in a one way lane and the car
in front of us had stopped very suddenly. I had screamed very loud,
because I saw it coming and I told him to stop because that was my
first reaction and once I opened my eyes we were in a crash. The
police and ambulance had come and had told us we were too close to
the car in front of us, which is why we hit it even though we hit our
brakes fast. So if we never was too close to the car in front, the
accident could have been avoided.

Lastly, to become a better and safe driver on the road and to help
others be safe on the road is to be aware of your surroundings.
First, make sure you turn off your phone or put it on do not disturb,
until you get to your destination. Don’t eat or drive either,
because that leads you to having both hands not on the wheel leading
to a greater chance and risk of getting into an accident. Also, if
someone else makes you mad and tries to race and speeds off don’t
entertain them, just let them go.
